The General Terms and Conditions of the FirstCornerShop online store are drafted in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot-UPB2), the Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-1), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-1).

The FirstCornerShop online store (hereinafter also referred to as the “online store”) is operated by Akar d.o.o., which is also the provider of e-commerce services (hereinafter also referred to as the “provider”).

Please read these General Terms and Conditions carefully, as they are binding upon entering our online store. By completing any transaction through our online store, it is deemed that you are familiar with the full content of the General Terms and Conditions and that you accept them without limitation.

You may use the services of the online store by registering as a user. During registration, you must enter a username (which is the same as your email address) and a password. The username and password uniquely identify and connect the user with the provided data. By registering, a visitor who is over 18 years of age becomes a user and gains the right to purchase.

The provider reserves the right to change these General Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes take effect upon publication and are binding for the user.

The online store is open 24 hours a day, every day. Due to technical reasons, access to or operation of the online store may occasionally be unavailable. Therefore, the provider reserves the right to temporarily or permanently limit or suspend the sale of certain or all products, or to limit or completely suspend access to the online store.

3. PRICES

The prices listed at the time of purchase apply and may be changed without prior notice.

All prices in the online store are stated in euros (EUR) and include VAT.

The price valid at the time of payment confirmation will be applied to the order.

At FirstCornerShop, we strive to offer products at the best possible prices. If you find an identical product marked with “Best Price Guarantee” at a lower price from another Slovenian retailer, notify us and we will match the price.

Conditions:

  • The request must be submitted by a registered FirstCornerShop customer who is a resident of Slovenia.

  • The competing offer must be from a retailer registered in Slovenia.

  • The offer applies to one product per customer per day.

Not included:

  • Refurbished or used products, or products not marked with the Best Price Guarantee.

  • Products from retailers not registered in Slovenia.

  • Prices affected by discounts, coupons, free offers, bundle pricing, or quantity discounts.

  • Clearance sales, private sales, or pricing errors.

Procedure:
Send the competing offer and a quotation to [email protected]. Once approved, you will receive an offer at the matched price.

4. CONCLUSION OF DISTANCE CONTRACTS

Contracts are concluded in the Slovenian language and stored electronically at the company headquarters. Customers may request a PDF copy via [email protected]. A fee may be charged for copies older than two years.

Accepted orders are considered final. The customer may cancel the order without obligation until receiving notification that the order is being processed.

Customers may review and correct errors before submitting the order in the cart or checkout pages.

5. PAYMENT METHODS

The provider offers the following payment options:

6. ORDERS AND DELIVERY

Orders can be placed online 24/7. Orders received on business days before 4:00 PM are shipped the next business day. Orders received on weekends or holidays are shipped on the next business day.

Shipping costs (unless free shipping applies):

  • Slovenia: €4.95

  • Croatia: €9.95

  • Other EU countries: €14.95

Free shipping thresholds:

  • €70 for Slovenia

  • €200 for other EU countries

Delivery is usually completed within 2–3 business days.

Delivery is available only within Slovenia and EU member states.

Products marked as “Out of stock” cannot be ordered.

7. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND RETURNS

Consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without stating a reason.

Returned items must be unused, undamaged, and in original condition.

Refunds will be issued within 14 days using the same payment method.

Discount codes or bonuses used are not refunded.

8. COMPLAINTS

All products are inspected and shipped undamaged. Complaints regarding damaged packaging must be reported within 8 days of receipt.

9. MATERIAL DEFECTS

The seller is liable for material defects in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws. The consumer may request repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund.

10. SECURITY

All transactions are protected by SSL encryption. Card payments are processed securely and in real time.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

FirstCornerShop strives to ensure accurate information but reserves the right to correct errors. In the case of obvious errors, the provider may withdraw from the contract.

All content on this website is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

13. COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTES

FirstCornerShop complies with consumer protection legislation and strives to resolve disputes amicably.
